It's finally here! The first of the videos shot for our new book, LOBSTERS SCREAM WHEN YOU BOIL THEM AND 100 OTHER MYTHS ABOUT FOOD AND COOKING!
I think you're going to love this book: snarky (moi?), cheeky, funny, and very informative. We take down the top 101 food myths, everything from historical doozies (Marco Polo and pasta, anyone?) to baking myths (what's with the water in any empty muffin-tin indentations?), from nutrition whoppers (sugar and addiction, anyone?) to long-standing silliness (your tongue does NOT have four kinds of tastebuds--or even distinct regions for tasting different flavors).

I love the video, and snarky is a GOOD thing. What a boring life if we treat everything prim, proper, and seriously!
Great video, and a lot funnier than my food science class. (And yes, I have a hand mixer. But perhaps best I don't make too many cookies anyway....) Will definitely take a look a the book when it comes out!
