On Vacation
Bruce and I are on vacation for the next ten days. Boy, are we excited to be away! It's been a busy year. You don't write three books in twelve months and not get a tad exhausted.
While we're away, I'm not taking a computer. I'm disabling the wifi on my iPad. And I'm only turning my phone on to make calls.
Let's just say, we're making a break from this ever-connected world.
After vacation, we're off to California to shoot videos for chow.com--and some daytime TV, too. And then we're in New York for a photo shoot for a week.
I'll be back in the internet saddle on Monday, 10/17, with lots of new recipes and ideas--including exciting ways to get in and out of the kitchen even faster. Get ready to become a quick cook!
In the meantime, be very well. I'll miss our back-and-forths madly. And soon enough, I'll be back in touch.

So you connect with me on twitter, I discover your blog and you are away on vacation? No! Come back! Very nice to meet you!
Good grief--3 books in 1 year. Surprised you're even alive to take a vacation-enjoy! Is that critter in the pic a cat--can't really tell?
Nancy: That's Dreydl, the sleeping, seventy-pound collie. Usually the running-after-chipmunks collie. But a hard day has apparently done him in.
